Celebrate BC’s legendary Fair at the PNE! Featuring special shows and entertainment, rides and food that will remind you of your childhood, plus new attractions and shows – here for this year only.

The event is open at the Pacific National Exhibition from August 18 – September 3 (closed on August 20 & 27) from 11AM-11PM!

It’s not every day you get to be swept away in shows and exhibits like the Knights of Valour, Action Sports World Tour, Lost World of Dragons and Popnology, and the legendary Summer Night Concerts! Plus rides, games and all that food. Take summer to the next level at the Fair at the PNE. Where priceless memories are free with admission.

JACK 96.9 is proud to present Dueling Pianos at Celebration Plaza Beer Garden, daily at 7PM and 9:45PM!!

Join the JACK PACK on-site, or find us presenting some of our favourite artists at the Summer Night Concerts including: ‘Lost 80’s Live’ feat. A Flock Of Seagulls, Men Without Hats, Wang Chung and more August 26th. Plus we present ‘Kool & The Gang’ on Wednesday, August 29th.

There are a ton of events at the Fair at the PNE for people of all ages to enjoy such as:

POPnology

This interactive, engaging exhibit makes the connection: how technology has been influenced by movies, books, television, art, and futurists. Which science fiction today will become reality tomorrow? POPnology takes us from fantasy to the reality of driverless cars, robots, drones, 3D printers – and into the future. POPnology not only chronicles our progression from science fiction to science fact, but also illuminates emerging technologies that are just now showing up on our cultural radar. Check out the DeLorean (from Back to the Future), Hal 9000, a 3D printed car, robot displays featuring Baxter, and more!

ARCY LIVE! – Live Event Mural – NEW!

Known for his paint splashed style of large scale street art, Ryan ‘ARCY’ Christenson has been refining his skills for over a decade. For each of the 15 days of The Fair, ARCY will be creating LIVE mural art celebrating iconic moments of the Pacific Coliseum’s history, as we celebrate its 50th anniversary.

Lost World of Dragons 

For thousands of years, one magical, mythical creature has captured the hearts and imaginations of cultures throughout the world. The Lost World of Dragons celebrates the wonder of dragons and gives visitors of all ages the thrill of seeing them brought to animatronic life. Visitors will be immersed in the stories of dragons, which appear in the lore and history of nearly every region and culture, from Norway to ancient China, where the creatures were revered and regarded as a symbol of good luck. Interactive displays invite visitors to engage all their senses. Photo opportunities include “Smaug’s Lair,” where visitors are eyed warily by the beast nestled in piles of gold and treasure.

Action Sports World Tour™

Come cheer on the world’s best professional skateboarders and BMX riders as they perform mind-boggling aerial stunts on a state-of-the-art half-pipe. You’ll have to see with your own eyes what these amazing X Games veterans are capable of. Stick around after the show for an opportunity to meet some of these incredible athletes for autographs and photos!
