Fly the friendly skies in this Freddie Mercury plane!

Are you planning a trip on Norwegian Air any time soon? Because if you are you just might be able to take your trip on this unbelievably awesome Freddie Mercury plane!

To commemorate what would have been the Queen front man’s 71st birthday on September 5th, Norwegian Air is outfitting the tail fin of two jumbo jet’s with a portrait of the rock icon. Norwegian have a tradition of commemorating icons on the tail fin’s of their planes but Freddie is one of the first non-Scandinavian stars to receive the honour (the other being soccer star Sir Bobby Moore).

We couldn’t think of a rock star more deserving of soaring above the clouds.
