The 1987 hit ‘Dirty Dancing’ is being remade for television, and it likely won’t be much like the original.

Rest assured this classic scene will still make the cut!

There will be some notable differences however, like instead of Jennifer Grey and the late Patrick Swayze, the roles will be played by ‘Scream Queens’ actress Abigail Breslin and dancer Colt Prattes, while Debra Messing will play Baby’s mother, Marjorie Houseman.

In a recent interview, Debra Messing said the remake will be longer than the original, going into greater detail about the role of Baby’s parents, and we’ll also find out what happens to Baby and Johnny after the summer at the Catskills resort. Messing said the whole thing will be a tribute to the late Patrick Swayze (who died after a battle with cancer in 2009).

Meanwhile, the actress also confirmed that a lot of the beloved original scenes will remain the same.

ABC will air ‘Dirty Dancing’ on May 24th, 2017.
