Fort McMurray gets a WestJet Christmas Miracle!

In the spirit of giving, WestJet has done it again!

For a couple of years now, the airline company has been spreading holiday cheer through heartwarming campaigns, and this season is no different!

WestJet hosted the ‘Snowflake Soirée’ in Fort McMurray recently, where families that had been impacted by the devastating wildfire in May 2016 were invited to enjoy some food, live music from Johnny Reid, and an extra little surprise.

WestJet has released this year’s ‘WestJest’s Christmas Miracle commercial’. Be prepared to smile through your tears with this one!

Last year WestJet performed 12,000 “mini miracles” for people around the world, in 2014 the airline company brought snow and presents to a community in the Dominican Republic and in 2013, 250 passengers travelling through the Calgary airport received Christmas gifts. You can expect to see a special video in the coming weeks highlighting this year’s Christmas Miracle campaign in Fort McMurray.
