Get Ready for those Advanced Tickets!

Three weeks until it’s go time! December 16th ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’ is set to hit theatres, however, advanced tickets have got everyone hyped! You can expect advanced tickets to go on sale this Monday, November 28th across Canada.

Where does this fit into the series: “Rogue One is the first stand alone in the Star Wars franchise and falls between the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith and shortly before the events of the original Star Wars: A New Hope.”

Premise: In a time of conflict, a group of unlikely heroes band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves.

The cast includes some heavy hitters like Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso along with Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Mads Mikkelsen, and Forest Whitaker. Gareth Edwards is directing (you may remember his work from Godzilla).

It’s projected to open with sales of $130-million-plus in North America over the Dec.16-18 opening weekend! I mean, it does look pretty epic!

Advanced tickets also go on sale in Canada and the US on Monday, November 28th, and have already begun in the UK! Catch the movie this holiday season, December 16th!
