Oh hey there, little fellas!!

Baby Sea Otters
Alaska SeaLife Center

Looks like Rialto, the baby sea otter, that was adopted by the Vancouver Aquarium this summer is going to have some new friends!

The two little otters were found off the coast of Alaska without their mother, and so, will be on a long-term care plan with the Aquarium, as they would not be able to survive in the wild on their own.

The Aquarium is seeking help naming the newest additions to the otter family; you can vote HERE!

For the female pup, possible names include: Kalluk (meaning thunder), Tutka (named for Tutka Bay, Alaska), or Kunik (meaning Kiss).

For the male otter, possible names include: Mak (named for Kachemak Bay, Alaska), Fritz (named for Fritz Creek by Kachemak Bay, Alaska), or Paxson (named for Paxson, Alaska).
