Ed Rosenbaum was just 17 years old when he was snapping pictures during massive concerts in New York City during the 70s and 80s. He recently came across the negatives and has since shared some never- before-seen shots of world-renowned artists.

Here, for instance is David Bowie at Madison Square Garden, 1978:

Rosenbaum also captured artists like Elvis Costello, Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, AC/DC and The Pretenders.

The photographs have been collected as ‘Golden Years’ and will be featured in an upcoming 56 page book, published by Esopus Magazine. There is also a corresponding exhibition on at Pioneer Works in Red Hook.

If you’re a superfan and have images just sitting on a camera (now, likely digital), the rest of us would love to see them!
