Coldplay’s first “Music of the Spheres World Tour” (MOSWT) performance concluded on January 23 in Singapore.  The band’s hit songs, including “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida,” and “A Sky Full of Stars,” are included in the setlist. During the performance of “A Sky Full of Stars,” the band stopped performing just before the first chorus. Lead singer Chris Martin joked that the show had finished as the lights went down and the chanting stopped. Martin told the crowd that they had held their first concert in Singapore 24 years prior.

He then asked the audience for a favour. Martin told the crowd, “This group of us, this 60,000 (sic), and four of us will never be in this room all together again, so we would like to remember this just as one family, one big band, and the way we’d like to do that is to ask you please […] maybe we could do one song all together with no cell phones.”
