Metallica break the record for single-show attendance

Metallica drew nearly 80,000 fans to the California venue, SoFi Stadium on Friday, August 25, one of the two shows for their M72 World Tour.

Between the two shows, the band has sold 156,000 tickets. They have officially passed Taylor Swift and the Super Bowl in bringing the most fans into the stadium in one night.
