Strong wind and rain is expected to hit the Lower Mainland over the next couple of days, with the strongest storm expected this evening. Here are all the resources you will need to keep your eye on the storm:

 

Update: There are a number of BC Hydro customers without power in the Lower Mainland.

BC Ferries have cancelled all sailings on major routes 1, 2, 9 & 30 for the rest of the day.

Vancouver International Airport is encouraging passengers to check their flight status; a number of flights have been delayed due to the weather.

 

 

Today, the 3rd, and strongest, storm will arrive on the coast and is expected to increase in severity as we move into the night. Be sure to be stocked with candles, charge any devices you will need, and settle in for a stormy weekend.
