This past weekend Paul McCartney closed out his headlining set at the Glastonbury Music Festival by bringing out Dave Grohl, who was making his first public appearance since the passing of his drummer and good friend Taylor Hawkins, as well as The Boss, Bruce Springsteen.

Each guest performed two songs with McCartney … Dave Grohl, who McCartney introduced to stage by saying “This guy flew in specially to do this. We love you” … joined in to play The Beatles classic I Saw Her Standing There and Wings Band on the Run … which also happened to be a song the Foo Fighters covered in ’07. Springsteen performed Glory Days from his 1984 album Born in the USA, and jumped in on The Beatles’ I Wanna Be Your Man.

Paul McCartney also performed a virtual duet of I’ve got a feeling with John Lennon.
