MAY 1st UPDATE:

Which way to the mosh pit? Lollapalooza is streaming legendary performances from its festival. Lollapalooza’s “Lolla From the Vault” series benefits LiveNation’s newly launched CrewNation, which is raising money for the countless crew members who work behind the scenes at concerts and festivals, like Lollapalooza. The first set is The Strokes from 2010.

 

APRIL 27th UPDATE:

Back in 1991, both Pearl Jam & Nirvana were the openers for a leg of the Red Hot Chili Peppers tour for 5 shows in California, Tempe & NY. Lots of video has surfaced from this show, YouTube user Andrew Emery has audio from all 3 bands sets that night in San Fran.

APRIL 23rd UPDATE:

Bruce Springsteen & Patti Scialfa performed this week on Youtube as part of the Jersey 4 Jersey Benefit:

Michael Stipe, Patti Smith, Flea and more are joining Pathway to Paris Earth Day 50: A Virtual Festival for Our Planet, starting on Instagram Live at 1PM PST April 25th.

The Beatles‘ animated film Yellow Submarine will stream as a global sing-along event on their YouTube page at 9AM PST on April 25th.

Not a concert, but Steven & Jenna Heller from Maple Valley, Washington recreated Journey’s ‘Seperate Ways’ video frame for frame and it’s perfect.

If you haven’t heard of Canada’s newest supergroup, it’s the TransCanada Highwaymen featuring four of Canada’s best, in Moe Berg (The Pursuit Of Happiness), Chris Murphy (Sloan), Craig Northey (Odds) and Steven Page (Ex-Barenaked Ladies). APRIL 22nd UPDATE:

APRIL 21st UPDATE:

Genesis are releasing full concerts weekly on their Youtube channel. The Genesis Film Festival will premiere every Saturday on the band’s YouTube page at 11am PST.

They kicked it off with the release of “Three Sides Live” , taped on Nov. 28 and 29, 1981, at New York City’s Savoy Theatre and Long Island’s Nassau Coliseum.

Warner Music Group today announced the first-of-its-kind virtual music festival, PlayOn Fest supporting the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO), powered by the UN Foundation. As part of a spectacular three-day live streaming event, PlayOn Fest promises to bring energy and high production values from world class stages (including Coachella, Sydney Opera House, Lollapalooza, Apollo Theater, Bonnaroo, The O2 Arena, Primavera Sound, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Rock In Rio, Global Citizen Festival, and more) to music fans hungry for communal live experiences. Warner Music Group labels have opened up their vaults to relive epic show-stopping performances for this one-time-only live viewing event.

Kicked off by LL COOL J this Friday at noon ET, PlayOn Fest will stream live on April 24-26, for 72 hours straight exclusively via Songkick’s YouTube channel HERE. Warner Music Group has also launched a pre-sale of exclusive PlayOn Fest merch (see HERE), with all proceeds going to the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for WHO. In addition, fans will be encouraged to click-to-donate throughout the three-day-event. Donations will support WHO’s work to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate development of a vaccine and treatments for all who need them.

 

Music fans across the world will have access to legendary never-before-released on YouTube performances, including sets from artists like:

  • Coldplay (taken from the band’s São Paulo, Brazil show during their A Head Full Of Dreams Tour in 2017, which became the third biggest tour of all time).
  • Bruno Mars (24K Magic Live at the Apollo – Mars’ first primetime special that was recorded from the stage of the legendary Harlem theater in 2017).
  • Panic! At The Disco (shot during their sold-out arena tour at the famed O2 Arena in London in 2019).
  • Ed Sheeran (taking his stadium show to the intimate Austin City Limits stage for a special performance on the iconic PBS series in 2017).
  • KORN (a groundbreaking performance filmed inside of a living art installation celebrating the release of their 2019 album The Nothing).
  • The Flaming Lips from Australia’s iconic Sydney Opera House in 2019, where they celebrated the 20th anniversary of their monumental album, The Soft Bulletin.
  • Green Day’s set from MTV’s World Stage Seville during the 2019 EMAs.
  • Weezer’s 2019 nostalgia-filled third Coachella performance.

APRIL 20th UPDATE:

Chris Martin, Mavis Staples, Earth, Wind and Fire, John Legend and Foo Fighters are among the musical acts that pay tribute to Prince in “Let’s Go Crazy: The Grammy Salute to Prince,” which will air at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, on CBS.

The concert was recorded in January after the 2020 Grammy Awards. Sheila E., Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis served as musical directors for the two-hour show .

Third Eye Blind are performing live during their “Quarantine Kitchen Sessions” every Tuesday at varying times on the band’s Instagram account to promote social distancing.


APRIL 17th UPDATE:

Pink Floyd are launching a free YouTube series of archived material. They’ll kick off this series with the 1995 concert film, Pulse, followed by weekly updates of archived concerts and unseen gems!  Watch HERE.

March 23rd UPDATE:

Serena Ryder will perform live on Facebook this Friday, March 27th at 2:30pm PST. This will be a part of the  #CanadaPerforms concert series – an initiative to support artists sponsored by the NAC Presents/CNA Présente and Facebook. The Facebook-NAC Fund for Performing Artists give $100,000 in artists fees to support live online performances to help those impacted by the closure of performance venues related to COVID-19. More information on the program will be discussed during the live stream. Serena will be donating proceeds to the Unison Benevolent Fund.

The Mandalorian (Disney +) – After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. Parks and Recreation
(NETFLIX) – Parks and Recreation revolves around Leslie Knope, the deputy director of the parks and recreation department in the fictional Indiana town of Pawnee.


The Good Place
(NETFLIX) – The Good Place is a town where those who have been good throughout their lives go once they have passed away. When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) arrives at the Good Place, she realizes she has been mistaken for someone else, and seeks help from a new friend to earn her spot in the Good Place.


OZARK
(NETFLIX) – A financial adviser (Jason Bateman) drags his family from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where he must launder money to appease a drug boss. Season 3 is scheduled to come out March 27th.

(NETFLIX) – The series revolves around Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg), an immature but talented NYPD detective in Brooklyn‘s fictional 99th Precinct, who often comes into conflict with his new commanding officer, the serious and stern Captain Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher).

Good Girls
(NETFLIX/NBC) – The series follows three suburban Michigan mothers, two of whom are sisters, who are having a hard time trying to make ends meet.
