sopranos

On June 10th, 2007 the controversial series finale for The Sopranos aired on HBO. Titled “Made in America”, it upset a lot of viewers with its open-ended conclusion.

Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing” played throughout most of the scene, which was watched by 11.9 million viewers. Immediately following the airing of “Made in America,” the song enjoyed a great surge of popularity, its sales on iTunes, for example, grew 482 percent.[19] The newly growing attention to the band helped it climb out of the reportedly difficult times it was having at the time.[20] You can watch the closing scene Here.  [Source: Wikipedia]
