Fire Aid, a benefit concert will take place this evening, June 29th, in Edmonton to benefit the victims of the Fort McMurray fire. They say the show goes rain or shine…and they’re praying for rain.

A tailgate party gets the festivities going at 2 p.m. this afternoon, with family-friendly activities, food, and a performance from the Edmonton Eskimos cheer team.

Then, each artist will have 15-20 minutes to play, in the following set order:

4:00   –  Doors open

4:45   –  Dustin Bentall

5:00   –  Harlequin

5:20   –  Dear Rouge

5:35   –  High Valley

5:55   –  Brett Kissel

6:10   –  Ian Tyson

6:30   –  Alan Doyle & the Beautiful Gypsies

6:45   –  Dallas Smith

7:00   –  The Rankin Family

7:20   –  Dean Brody

7:40   –  Randy Bachman with the Sadies

8:00   –  Corb Lund

8:20   –  Barney Bentall

8:35   –  City and Colour (solo)

9:05   –  Blue Rodeo

10:05 –  Nickelback

All money raised will go to benefit those who were impacted by the devastating wildfires. #fortmacstrong
