One of his top picks is the iconic riff from “Tusk,” the title track of their groundbreaking 1979 album. Buckingham described the song as “epic” and noted that its creation was highly spontaneous, with musical ideas effortlessly coming together in the studio.

Another standout for him is “What Makes You Think You’re the One,” also from the Tusk album. This track showcases Buckingham’s innovative recording techniques, where he pushed boundaries to craft a distinctive sound. His approach often involved experimenting with unconventional methods, reflecting his commitment to keeping Fleetwood Mac’s music fresh and unique.
