Pearl Jam achieves consecutive No. 1 hits on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart for the first time, with “Wreckage” reaching the top spot on the July 13-dated chart. This follows the band’s four-week run at No. 1 with “Dark Matter” starting in March. The Eddie Vedder-led group now has a total of five Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1s in their career. They first topped the chart with “Daughter” in 1993, followed by “Given To Fly” in 1998, and “Better Man” in 2005, before their two 2024 chart-toppers. This marks the first time the band has had multiple No. 1s from the same album on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart.
