Jon Bon Jovi’s latest venture, JBJ’s Nashville, has opened its doors, offering fans a five-story, 37,000-square-foot venue packed with live music and a groundbreaking feature: a permanent hologram of Bon Jovi himself.

Thanks to Proto Inc., the bar boasts a 4K hologram of the rock legend, adding a futuristic touch to the Nashville music scene. This immersive experience includes surprise appearances from celebrity guests. Later this year, fans can expect holograms of Bon Jovi’s bandmates to join the show.

Unlike other performing holograms, Proto’s technology places the subject in a booth that mimics realistic lighting and presence, akin to a life-size Barbie doll box. This innovation marks the first use of Proto units in a music venue, with other installations at JFK Airport and Jimmy Kimmel’s comedy club in Las Vegas.

Matthew Bongiovi, of Bon Jovi Management, praised the addition, stating it exemplifies their commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences. Proto Hologram founder David Nussbaum echoed this sentiment, highlighting how their technology transforms live performances into unparalleled experiences, allowing artists to connect with audiences in unprecedented ways.

Bon Jovi’s bar opening coincides with the band’s 40th anniversary, a milestone celebrated with the Hulu docuseries “Thank You, Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story” and their 16th studio album, “Forever,” which has reached No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
