Aerosmith postpone shows after Steven Tyler's vocal cord injury

Aerosmith postponed several shows on their North American farewell tour after lead singer, Steven Tyler suffered vocal cord damage.

Tyler posted late Monday on social media:

“I’m heartbroken to say I have received strict doctor’s orders not to sing for the next thirty days.” He went on the say that he “sustained vocal cord damage during Saturday’s show (September 9) that led to subsequent bleeding.”

Aerosmith’s next show is set for October 11th, in Tampa.

• Jan 29 – Detroit, MI – Little Caesars Arena
• Feb 14 – Chicago, IL – United Center
• Feb 17 – Washington, DC – Capital One Arena
• Feb 21 – Toronto, ON – Scotiabank Arena
• Feb 26 – Raleigh. NC – PNC Arena
• Feb 29 – Cleveland, OH – Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse
