Eddie Vedder has quietly put on his own music festival the past 4 years in Doheny State Park in Dana Point, California. We say quietly, but only in comparison to Coachella and Bonaroo. Vedder’s Ohana Festival averages 20,000 a night and pack’s an A-tiered line up

The festival also promises a collection of exhibitors & panels with leading conservationists, environmentalists, researchers and professional surfers, and if you were there this year, some amazing moments.

The theme of the weekend was a touching tribute to the late Tom Petty who passed away 5 years ago now, or “TomFest” as Vedder described. Eddie Vedder jumped on stage Friday night during Stevie Nicks’ set to perform “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” which Nicks originally recorded with Tom Petty on her debut solo album Bella Donna.

The next night during Eddie Vedder’s headlining set he performed “Room at the Top” and “The Waiting” joined on stage by Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell.

Keep an eye open for announcements for next year’s line up on Eddie Vedder’s social accounts. This looks like a fun festival!
