We have so many questions about the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife movie. Questions like, What ever happened to Louis? Do we still call the Ghostbusters? Or are we texting them now … or going through their social? If we are calling them, what’s their number? They don’t actually tell us in the song. We’re hoping our questions get answered, and we’re hoping for a full 80s crossover… where the new Ghostbusters movie is all about capturing Patrick Swayze so he stops ruining people’s pottery sessions.

Ghostbusters: Afterlife is ready to hit theatres and from what we can tell, it’ll follow the lives of Egon Spengler’s family as they move into an old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere that was owned by him while his family uncovers his past and bring all the old Ghostbusters gear back to life. In trailers, we’ve seen the Ghost Trap, Proton Packs and Ecto-1 (with a few new modifications) … we’ve also seen the return of Terror Dogs and Stay Puft The Marshmellow Man (but mini), but how these all fit together in a universe so many of us loved as children in the 80s remains to be seen. We do know at some point, we’ll see Ray Stanz, Peter Venkman and Winston Zedmore, as well as Janine, the lovable receptionist.

Turns out during the filming of the original Ghostbusters, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson broke a lot of rules … they joined Jimmy Fallon to share stories from the original movie

If you haven’t watched the trailer yet for the new Ghostbusters: Afterlife, check it out!

We hope this movie tugs on our nostalgia strings and makes us feel like kids again, or at least explains why Paul Rudd never ages. What’s something you hope to see in the new movie!? Tell us on Facebook.
