We’ve been social distancing for years (not by choice). While we’re maybe a little more familiar with time alone, it can be challenging for others.

Our time is spent indoors, with many feeling isolated and lonely and missing friends, family and colleagues. We are yearning for human connection and daily rituals that have been lost in the past few weeks. This is the time when a warm, caring message can go a long way to help each other get through this difficult time.

With community and connectivity at the forefront, let’s work together to inspire and motivate Canadians to call their loved ones before bed to say: “Goodnight”. No matter how you say it, checking in on someone to say goodnight can go a long way right now.

So before you turn in tonight, call a friend or loved one and let them know you’re thinking of them-call and #SayGoodnight.
