With September fast approaching, we’re scrambling to get in all the delights of summer before the sun stops being so nice to us. And we’d say it’s been pretty nice this past week. We moved into the weekend last Friday with a trip to Nat Bailey Stadium to watch our favourite Canadians tear up the diamond. Our boys in red may have dropped the ball on Friday but we went right back there Monday night with our good luck charms: Jeff, Charis, and Paul got out of the house to catch the game and saw the Canadians pull out a huge win.

Amidst the baseball fun, we got out to see some pups on Sunday when we visited Pet-A-Palooza in Yaletown. Though it may have smelled a little bit like pee, the hundreds of puppers made up for it. Capping off this week we say thank you to our new friends at the Richmond Sunflower Festival for having us come hang out in the sun on Tuesday. Should we have worn sun screen? Yes, says the back of my neck.

Here’s where we’ll be this week

  •   Wednesday, August 28 – Subway Mighty Melt all over the Lower Mainland
  •   Friday, August 30 – PNE Fair
  •   Saturday, August 31 – PNE Fair and JACK Presents Billy Idol for the Summer Nights Concerts

Thanks to our friends at Booster Juice for keeping our boosters juiced!
