You can expect this year’s Vancouver International Jazz Festival to have an extra little Zeppelin flavour, thanks to Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters!

Booked to play the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on June 29th, Plant will bring music from his latest endeavour, Carry Fire, where “Plant reflects on the experiences, the emotions and the sounds of where he’s been, and he ruminates on where he—and our world—might be headed.”

You can’t have Robert Plant without some kind of nod to the Led Zeppelin legacy, which he’s been known to bring. Fans can expect him to take more of a folk tone to some of his rock classics, like “Black Dog”, “Gallows Pole”, “Houses of the Holy”, and “Ramble On”.

The Vancouver International Jazz Festival is taking place June 22nd – July 1st with over 150 free shows.
