Foo Fighters, John Lennon and Van Halen = YES!!!

As the Foo Fighters gear up for the summer leg of their tour, they’ve been getting into some serious mash ups!

The band posted this 2 minute video to Twitter that starts off with the keys quietly playing the instantly recognizable chords to John Lennon’s 1971 hit “Imagine”. Foo Fighters’ frontman Dave Grohl then steps up to the mic and sings “I get up..and nothing brings me down” – the opening line of Van Halen’s tune “Jump”.

The Foo Fighters are currently wrapping up this portion of their tour, with the North American leg beginning in April. The band will play Rogers Arena this coming September.
