Kids React to Record Players

“It’s like a DJ thing-a-ma-bob…but really old!”

Fine Brothers Entertainment is a YouTube channel that films people’s responses to different pop culture phenomena, and this time they are checking in with kids ages 7-13 to see how they will react to using a record player.

As you can imagine, these kids are used to pocket-sized electronics to access their music at the click of a button and although most of them have some vague idea about record players and vinyl, they are wowed at the thought of driving to a store to purchase music and then using a large apparatus to hear a single artist’s work.

Our favourite part is when 9 year old Lucas increases the speed of the song for “when you have lots of energy” and dances along!
