“Back in Black” is one of AC/DC’s most iconic songs, and was the song that introduced AC/DC fans to new lead singer Brian Johnson after the tragic death of original frontman Bon Scott.

MUSE & Brian Johnson belt out 'Back in Black'

Released on December 21st, 1980, the song has sold over 2 million copies. Even the ringtone is super popular; it has over 1 million downloads! The song is a hard rock anthem and almost everyone who listens to rock music knows this one.

AC/DC is near the end of their amazing career, with the passing of Malcolm Young and Brian Johnson’s battle with hearing loss severely limiting their ability to create new music. But hearing loss didn’t stop Johnson from getting up on stage with British rockers MUSE shortly after the passing of Malcolm for an impromptu performance of “Back in Black”. Check it out!

In our opinion, Brian still sounds awesome. And MUSE rock!

Back in Black forever.
