Gord Downie set to Release Solo Album

Introduce Yerself is Gord Downie’s “soul on a record” and is set to be released on October 27th, 2017.

The 23-song double album was recorded in January 2016 and February 2017, with the final album often reflecting first takes. Each track is deeply personal, typically reflecting a person in his life.

This is the second album by the Tragically Hip frontman since disclosing his terminal brain cancer diagnosis.

Last October, he released “Secret Path” — an album, graphic novel and film based on the story of Chanie Wenjack, a young Ojibwe boy who died while trying to escape a residential school.

Introduce Yerself will be released on CD and digital on October 27, 2017, with preorder options available September 29th. The vinyl will be in stores December 1, 2017 in a double gatefold jacket with two pull-out posters.
