In memory of Chris Cornell  a music therapy program for children is opening in Seattle, Washington.

The “Chris Cornell Music Therapy Program” will be part of Childhaven, a nonprofit organization that provides healing care to abused, neglected and chemically affected babies, toddlers and preschoolers. The nonprofit is an organization that Chris and his wife Vicky Cornell have supported in the past, and this new therapy program is made possible by a generous $100,000 donation from the Chris & Vicky Cornell Foundation.

The organization wrote on Facebook, “RIP Chris; we’re proud to be carrying on your legacy by bringing the power of music to the most vulnerable children in our community.”
