Born to play! Tye Trujillo is just 12 years old, and has been added as the temporary bassist for American metal band, Korn! He’s now got his first real gig under his belt!

Watch this!

Korn

Tye clearly takes after his Dad, as he’s the son of Metallica’s bassist Robert Trujillo! Talented in his own right, Tye agreed to play the South American leg of Korn’s tour, as Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu couldn’t make it. Tye also has his own band called ‘The Helmets’, but will be shredding it with Korn until May 6th!

Check out the first bit of this video from their show in Bogota, when Tye goes alongside drummer Ray Luzier (continue watching if you want to see Luzier absoluetly lose it on the drums!!)

Here’s another good example of the 12 year old totally keeping up with the metal band!

He holds his own, right?

Rock on, kid!
