While we could have done an entire blog post on Hammer’s lesser known tracks (the theme from Hammer Man, Pumps in a Bump, Straight 2 My Feet and the legendary 14 minute video for 2 Legit 2 Quit to name four), we decided to stick with just one essential song. Because if there is one way to celebrate MC Hammer’s birthday it’s with CAN’T TOUCH THIS!

This version is different though, as it is a mashup of “U Can’t Touch This” with Rick James “Super Freak”, the hit song Hammer sampled to create his own, even bigger hit. They go together so well because they are essentially brothers from another mother. Check it out.
