Jack Irons (also a previous drummer for the RHCP) was scheduled as an opening act for the St. Patrick’s Day concert. It was the Pearl Jam front man, who jumped on stage as a complete surprise! During the Seattle stop of the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert, Eddie Vedder accompanied his former band mate Jack Irons, in a rendition of Pink Floyd’s “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.”

Watch this!

Here’s the thing… People are divided on how they feel about this! The online audience is not sure about this cover – some love it – some dislike it entirely (and that’s putting it gently). Meanwhile, people in Seattle are mad at themselves for not being on time to the opening act, and missed the Vedder appearance!

What’d ya think?
