No matter what you say about Vancouver’s hockey team, the Canucks still rake in the dough!

Forbes released its 18th annual NHL valuations list recently, and The Vancouver Canucks make the top 10 list.

According to Forbes NHL team values for 2016, the Vancouver Canucks rank 7th, with their current value sitting at 700 million. Although that’s down 6.1% from last year, it still accounts for $146 million dollars in revenue, and an operating budget of $29.6 million.

 

Across the nation, there’s 3 Canadian hockey teams in the top 10 most valuable list:

Toronto Maple Leafs, valued at $1.1 billion are 3rd and that’s down 4.4% over 2015. The Leafs haven’t made the playoffs once in the last 11 seasons and have seen 5 different head coaches in that time – but Leaf’s fan have an incredibly persistent level of hope.
