Is anyone growing a moustache for Movember?

This popular movement started over a decade ago, and began with two ‘Mo Bros in Australia who used the moustache to start a conversation around men’s health. But… do you know many people who are taking part in 2016?

The thing is, Movember may have been a fun fad, but it was supposed to be more than just trying to grow a gnarly stache, take a picture, and have your wife nag you to shave it off for a month.

According to the Movember Canada website:

“Men experience worse longer-term health than women and die on average six years earlier. Prostate cancer rates will double in the next 15 years.

Testicular cancer rates have already doubled in the last 50 (and) three quarters of suicides are men.”

And yeah, that’s a little heavy, but who cares!

It isn’t too late either, there are still a number of days left in November to participate. Here are some other iconic moustaches for some inspiration:

Maybe your ‘stache won’t be quite as gnarly as those fellows, without the full month to grow it, but I say do it! Grow a ‘mo to save a bro!
