Born on This Day in 1959: Bryan Adams!

He may be turning 57, but we all know he’ll be 18 ’til he dies! 

In 57 years, this man has accomplished a.lot.

He’s a singer, songwriter, guitarist, photographer, activist and dad, and he’s done it all with a boatload of success.

Launching his career in the early 80s, it didn’t take him long to move from his hometown of Kingston, Ontario to the West Coast, where he signed his first record contract when he was 18 for a whopping $1.00!

Adams has recorded 14 studio albums, which have allowed him 20 Juno Awards, 1 Grammy, among others, as well as Academy Awards for his songwriting for films. He’s got the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia under his belt, and we could go on and on and on!

Today, at 57, Bryan Adams is bouncing around Canada for the ‘Get Up Tour’, working on music for the musical rendition of ‘Pretty Woman’ – oh! – And playing family man to his two young daughters, Mirabella and Lula!
