The year was 1973, the same year AC/DC and Bachman Turner Overdrive formed and Queen released their debut self titled album.

 

It was the John Peel show on the BBC where Queen played ‘My Fairy King’ for the first time on the radio.

 

 

 

This and other songs will be featured on ‘Queen On Air’, a collection of 6 BBC radio sessions Queen performed between 1973 and 1977.

‘Queen On Air’ will be a 2 CD set and there will also be a 3-LP vinyl and that is not all! There is also a 6 CD edition with a CD full of live concert broadcasts and 3 CDs of radio interviews

All versions will be released on November 4.
