Finding Dory Movie Release

Our favourite characters from Finding Nemo return to the big-screen in Finding Dory! This time, they are on a quest to find Dory’s family! The movie features new characters and voices, like Ty Burrell, Ed O’Neill, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton! Opens in theatres today!

 

 

 

Summer Solstice Celebration

Take things out of the city this weekend, and point the car north! Saturday June 18th from 10am-11:30pm, the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish is hosting a Summer Solstice Celebration to welcome in the summer season! From guided hikes, an all-day BBQ, sunset yoga and live music – likely, something for all to enjoy!

Vancouver Aquarium: Celebrating 60 years of Ocean Conservation

Help the Vancouver Aquarium celebrate its 60th all weekend long! There’ll be an Ocean Wise salmon BBQ, a live aquatic-themed dance performance, face-painting, crafts and CAKE!!!

 

 

 

Raymond James Father’s Day Walk/Run

Don’t worry if you didn’t get much training time in, you can always walk this 5K!

PLUS, it’s all for a good cause! This is the 18th year that the Prostate Cancer Foundation BC has put on this event and they’re celebrating Dad! This family-friendly event includes a free barbeque, great prizes, a kid’s zone, and a golf challenge. Sunday June 19th at Burnaby Lake.

Car Free Day:

“Free of charge. Free of boring corporate stuff. Free of cars” – what’s not to love?!

From Broadway to 30th on Main Street – Car Free Day is a giant street festival! 21 blocks of markets, bands, kid-zones, and community driven stages! Sunday June 19th, from noon until 7pm.
