One of Canada’s biggest rockers has cancelled an upcoming concert in Mississippi to protest a new law that allows religious groups to discriminate against the LGBT community.

 

Adams says he can’t “in good conscience” perform in a state where this is happening.

 

The new law goes into effect this summer.

 

Last week, Bruce Springsteen cancelled his concert in North Carolina to protest a similar law:
